Hope that Jeremy is successful with the sponsorship deal - it seems like this was unexpected hence Jez and Jonny having to cancel the Berlin trip. iI can't help wondering if this opportunity has come about as a direct result of his BB appearance. If so, that is excellent as not only did we hugely enjoy seeing Jeremy, but his involvement may have reaped commercial nterest.

As for his fitness, I noticed how, in spite of his lack of sleep, Jeremy did use the gym on occasions and was surprised at how long he stayed on the running machine, and without appearing breathless. Anthony on one occasion was on it for a very short period and was soon gulping for air.
I also remember being impressed with Jeremy's press-ups - I can't remember exactly how many, but there were a lot!
He also said that he put on a little weight in the off-season but slimmed down by April.

Like Tudor Rose, I just want him to be safe and sound and not take too many chances. I know he said that his particular talent was in cutting in at corners - sounds exciting but terrifying at the same time. And you're right, TR, he must get that neck sorted - he can't go on carrying a bottle of moisturiser around with him!

On a Racing forum, I was reading their comments and several said they hoped Jez going on BB wouldnt bring with it, alot of "BB groupies" going to Race Meetings just to see Jezer.......I had to laugh, I wouldnt class myself as a groupie, but I certainly will be visiting Thruxton just to see him driving

Racing drivers are well known for groupies to follow them around any way , Jez infered this on the clip re Joan Rivers talk with him .By the way with or with out him being in such avery sexy sport Jez does not need no back up like this , there was a certain look with his eyes he gave the girls which they could not resist . But Jez knew what he was doing so he only gave this look very rarely When he did watch out all you girls out there .

I would have thought that fans were fans no matter where they came from. surely if he gathers more interest for the sport it is only a good thing right. I have always watched F1, moreso because my whole family follow it but i have more of an interest to follow different levels of racing now that i have seen Jeremy and will be watching out for him in the future.

I think the forum I was on, reading through the lines, its sounds like jealousy to me, Jez must have a higher profile for sponsorship from doing BBCH even though it didnt get much interest from the tabloids or Mags. Having a fanbase should be flattering for him.....to race is his passion and if he is successful in continuing in the sport and winning will be his ultimate wish, not for being on BBCH.

No doubt about it, going into BB is always a risky business and I applaud all of the hms for having the guts to do it. They become household names/faces, even at the BBCHJ level. It is odd how some tv reviews I have read over the weekend have trashed the show, having gone out of their way to watch the finale - all 2 hours of it - on the last Monday. Like us, many of them love it, but because of their intellectual snobbery they feel the need to be seen to put it down.

Jeremy made it clear several times that he was not interested in fame, correcting Emilia on more than one occasion when she said that was why they were all there. He made it very clear that he needed the sponsorship. And not only did he have the courage to do BB, but he has the qualities the producers needed for a superb housemate, imo the STAR OF THE SHOW.

He is bound to encounter a degree of jealousy as his BB appearance has certainly raised his profile - very often in the unlikeliest of places. So many people are in denial about enjoying BB but it really does percolate through society. Jeremy is hugely appreciated and highly regarded and his raising of his profile can only be a positive thing for his sport. It was obvious watching him in his audition tape that the adrenalin rush he gets when driving, once experienced, has to be repeated. But it costs and he is using every resource possible - including BB - to live his dream. What a guy.

Keeping fingers and toes tightly crossed for some positive news about sponsorship, and having enjoyed BB so very much only because of Jeremy, I will now be supporting him all the way on the circuit. And of course, wishing him every happiness in his private life.

Totally agree, Jezer did make it quite clear to Emelia and others he was not in it for "celebrity status" he clearly wanted and "risked" alot by going on there to help with his sponsorship....he is clearly competitive and in order to achieve what he has wanted to do for some years he needs that backing in order to continue.

I hope he does, he has already shown in the racing world that he has what it takes

Yea, despite the low ratings and no channel4 I think it was possibly the best BB series. Not only did have great characters like Jeremy, Amy, Emilia; an intelligent romance; and people you would never normally see on BB or on telly for that matter - the Arata's; but having the hijackers added an extra dimension to the entertainment. No BB opening night was as entertaining as the Matt Lucas one. But that said, I don't think the summer will be anyway as good, now that i'm used to HM that are normal people with a brain.

I thought when the show first started we had a big flop on our hands , but then Jez appeared he was the show even though BB tried to pull him down time after time he was soooooooooooooooo entertaining , never boring unlike John yawn and Anthonygrunt . Where I could sit through four hours of Jez lol four minutes of the above two was far to much

How right you are, Tudor Rose. Jeremy had the lot. Particularly loved his honesty with John. The night he drank the red wine and beer after his intelligence row with Emilia he told John exactly what he thought of the ridiculous immunity pass John had been awarded. As Jeremy said, Amy and Anthony had been grilled for seven hours by the 'SAS' and had been given immunity from one eviction. John was awarded a free pass to the final for his 2 hour Matt Lucas task. What?

I wonder if John or Anthony ever come-up for nomination, whether they would have gone ???

Jezer had his support, obviously, Amy, Emelia, Victor (if he had stayed), Nathan, would never have voted for Jezer. It was the other lot Although, Jezer didnt realise what was happening outside, he would have never gone, if he had there would have been many fewer viewers.

Jezer always looked so serious when he was sat in the chair waiting to hear who was to be evicted. He deserved to win on the basis he really did get the full experience of BB. Whereas John and Anthony just sailed through, a bit unfair when you think about it.

Hi, Luckysmurf, Good to see you
You too Jules How's u? The weeks just are not as entertaining in chezsmurf without BBCH Can't quite decide whether or not to try the US version tomo. Jez, Emilia and Amy have set the entertainment bar pretty high, don't know whether it'll live up to the high standards I've become used to Btw, sorry to be a doubtingsmurf, but do you think that was REALLY Amy in the other thread??

Im fine thanks, forum is a bit quiet again, hope its not going to slow down and get busy again for BB9.

I'll still be here on Jezers Site LOL

Iam not sure if I will get into the US Version, its an entirely different format and it takes alot for me to get into BB's. I actually watched BB7 and 8. but agree with you, I think BBCH was brill and wish it was longer. Although it was over 3 weeks, it seemed like it was all over before it begun Iam not one for sitting and watching too much TV.

I did put a comment on Amy's thread, as she was my 2nd fav after Jezer. It could well be her, I possibly thought that if she had been on the phone to Jezer, he might have said about himself doing a thank you for support on here and that she also had a good following, she decided to it as well. I think she would appreciate the support and is the kind of person to thank everyone. If its not, then the posts on there show support for her, just like the Jezer Mates thread does. Its funny that the site gets buzzing when any of the h/m's come on and I think Jeremy in doing what he did, with the help of his friend Jonny just goes to show what a special guy he is

Yea i have to say, although he was nice and all that there wasn't anything interesting about John to watch, or all the others for that matter. I only zoned in for J, E, A & V, and of course Dermot. Outside of that I thought Carmen Arata was great. My favourite hijacker moment is Russel Brand winding up Jay in the diary room, and of course Jimmy Carr taking the p-ss out of Jez.

I would have voted John out in a flash. Really wanted him to be out first not last on final night Full marks to Jeremy for saying he would have nominated him that time. He didn't have to do that.

I am a bit cynical so I don't believe it was the "real" Amy but you never can tell.

One of my favourite clips is the Jimmy Carr one too

Have a great day everyone

Morning all

I've just said it on the other thread but thought I'd say it here too Happy Valentines Day Jez I hope he has a lovely day and gets to spend it with the people who mean the most to him

I hope we get an update soon from Jonny. I'd love to know how his sponsorship meeting went and also if he has re-scheduled his trip to Berlin.

In the meantime I'm really enjoying all the great video clips that have been posted on youtube.

No surprise to me that we haven't heard from Jez or Jonny. I believe Jez really appreciated us viewers who saw what a star he was in the house, but at the same time as he always said, he liked to keep a lot of things private. For example, his efforts to keep his feelings for Emilia in check were nothing short of amazing. No one watching them together could fail to see the chemistry and yet they both managed to back off when it really sizzled. How on earth did they both manage not to kiss?

Also his dedication to his racing is paramount to him, likewise Emelia's dedication to the circus. I think they were both sensible and mature enough to have sussed this out. But we shall see - or will we?

It has been great that Jonny came on the DS forum to support Jez and bringing Jez on with that photo was the icing on the cake. Typically good manners from Jeremy in thanking us for our support. But no one will blame him if he leaves it at that. I think even Jez with his delightfully dry cynical sense of humour was probably gobsmacked at the overwhelming support and interest in him on this forum. Particularly as he was all but ignored in the Winners Show.

Summing up, what I'm trying to say is that I, for one, will not be surprised if we don't hear from Jonny or Jez again. I hope I am proved wrong but doubt it.

Come on guys, prove me wrong, make my day.
