Just doing my Jeremy thread rounds - he so deserves to dominate the post-BBC Hijack interest, let's face it he WAS the show. If it had been left to the others it would have been unwatchably boring. Even the delightful Amy and the enigmatic Emilia would have been unable to shine had Jeremy not been there to bring out the best in them. Those three and Victor saved the show and Jeremy was the star turn.

As if that wasn't enough, he now goes and exceeds all our hopes by winning his maiden GT race at just the second attempt, and so early in his career. A truly remarkable achievement and it augurs well for the future. Many congratulations Jeremy, Luke and the team. We are all very proud of you.

It must have been so disappointing for Jezer at Olton but this more than makes up for it

Hope its a double celebration tomorrow and we can all join Jezer in a glass of champagne or two.

The next race seems a long way away, hopefully we get some nice things in between. We cannot be Jezless for that long anymore.:sleep:

What an amazing weekend for Jez. Pity about the Ferrari being beaten up. Looks like one or two drivers showed a little bit too much competitiveness following Jez and Luke's victory on Saturday. But, as Jez said, this is what happens and it's all part of the sport. At least the team have got six weeks to repair the damage. Can't wait to see their victory on tv.

I agree seeing their victory on TV will be great. I hope the show does them justice.

Ok as you may or may not know I am trying to make a Jez vid. If anyone knows of any footage vids of Jeremy racing on the web espesically if the the race announcers mention his name as he goes by the carmera..etc. Please send me the link...

You have to scroll down quite a bit when you get on it and go on Series 3. Episode 2.

Listen to the begining quickly as it has the introduction and then either fast forward or go on the little clicker and pull along to 37.33 - Jezers Interview, he talks about his time in the BB house and his GT racing.

I really enjoyed listening to it and its nice to see something from Jezer so soon after coming out of the house.

Thanks charmer for bringing this over, it was nice that he got an intreview from a motor sport radio soon after he left the house. It was also nice to know that other drivers were rejected and he was chosen. I am sure Endamol are pleased with the impact he has had and his popularity. As he said Marc Orme put him forward for the programme, it is now very clear that he has handled his interests very well to aviod a backclash and the media issues especially in some very risky areas that often bring hms down. It was also useful to hear that there was a risk to his British Drivers Rising Star status but I think things have gone so well he does not have to worry about that. I am sure Marc Orme will continue to maximise the opportunities of his BB experience in a slow and strategic way.

It was a really good interview, only wished I had heard it all that time ago, we were guessing on here what Jezer would be doing and who he would be signing-up with and his interview explains all. Iam glad he still has his sights on F1 and I think he is proving himself to be capable of being a driver to look out for in the future.

I agree,I think it is clear from that interview that his sight is set on F1 but he made a decision to do British GT as a side step inorder to establish good links with the sponsors. IMO his BB appearance to expose himself at the same time was a very good decision indeed. He is driving well and getting noticed now, his fans are helping in rasing his profile. With such quality driving and exposure he should be able to land some good sponsorship deals.
There is a lot of strategic timing in what he does, it looks like the Br Gt deal was already on the table, the ferrari was on his website throughout the show,if you remember the racing dates appeared on website before he was officially announced. There was speculation here as to who he was going to drive for, and then they announced him on media day- IMO to avoid any unneccesary media leakeage.

As seen from the birthday photos on his other threads on the forum. The other issue seems to be managed, it is still a wait and see situation and only time will tell. But I think something has leaked there.
