Good evenning all Jez fans. Hope you, Jez and all those who celebrated with him had a good time. There are over 470 views on his birthday thread,quite unbelievable for such a one day,one off and a bit low key event for the main forum But it seems to have worked.

Jeremy's facebook link is open and has been since Friday.
I am just keeping a look out for birthday pics incase he puts some up. I hope the link works for everyone.The fact that he has left it open for all this time maybe a good sign imo. But we wait and see......cant really count our chickens before they hatch lol

This is a website of a global group of people who climb mountain peaks for charity. Well I have stumbled accross a facebook group created by Jeremy Metcalfe to this cause. I think we need to congratulate him because on his 21st birthday which got us all excited,he was busy climbing a peak for charity. Not partying at all.

I think it would be nice if we gave him some support by joining the cause

I can only see Jeremy's profile page as I am not a member of a Facebook Network [perhaps it is time to become one] but it is nice to see Jeremy near the top of one of the peaks.

It also goes to show what a thoroughly decent young person he is by being involved in raising money for charity not only on his 21st birthday but also when having to do an assignment for his degree.

Its a shame you cannot see all the pics. I have been asked by a few people if I am a 'friend' on Jez's facebook as I can see all of them and the answer to that question is 'no'. However I will send you AH59 and tudor rose pms on the issue.

tudor rose the person with Jeremy in the profile pic is called Byron Ward. From the info on the 3 peaks challenge page,Jez is the founder of the facebook group.He just mobilised his friends to go with him,spend his birthday climbing the peaks. We have to wait and see whether there will be home celebrations. I am going to try and link the 3 peaks challenge page.

A bit quiet around here,hope all Jez fans are well. Hopefully Jeremy and the boys have recovered from their mountain adventure. It will be nice to know the charity that benefits from their efforts. It is fair to say they took me by surprise and I was very impressed by their choice of activity for a
21st birthday.If we had more young people like that,the world will be a better place.

It interesting that there are currently 597 views(on my DS account) on Jeremy's birthday thread which was nearly a month ago Looks like it is due to the climbing adventure which imo was a terrific activity.I wish Jeremy could talk about that experience in some way. And to make this more interesting is his former team publishing a season's racing pic book on his birthday.

No wonder he has now released his birthday on Facebook.

Couldn't agree more, ucra, I think there are lots of us here who would love to hear about Jez's birthday adventure. It was a brilliant way to celebrate his 21st and is bound to inspire others. Typical Jez, he really enjoys challenges, what with racing Ferraris, climbing mountains, and going into the Big Brother house, what next? Wouldn't we love to know! But, hey, Jez is a man of mystery, and we must just be patient... meanwhile I am still enjoying the Youtube clips of him in the house, so charismatic and entertaining.

A bit too mysterious at the momment. The racing season seems to be underway without himto an extent that his website is still showing a team that does not even exist lol.
A short update about how he is doing at Uni would be great,afterall it was on his official site that he had gone to Uni.

On the other hand I agree with you,when its time to hear from him,it will be the right time.These days he is a delicate egg,lots of things to balance,a racing career,studies,popular demand,lifestyle of a 21 yr old so we must be patient. As we were surprised by climbing a mountain as we all expected a party,we could be surprised by what is next.

I think everyone here will appreciate the fact that a pic of Jeremy and Demon Hill which we had on this thread a few months ago(linked from Heatworld) is now featured on his website
