Hi everyone? I managed to get accross the Antlantic before the volcano invaded the air space.Hope everyone is fine and Jeremy had a happy birthday.

Just been in the main forum and appreciation threads are being called 'message boards'.It actually made me laugh.Although I might agree in some way,I see them much more as promotion spaces.Especially as in some of them in particular Jeremy's threads with my research hat on is a clear correlation between the no of posts and the no of views. Low numbers in posts and very high views means alot of interest outside of DS in this particular housemate. Backed by the level of buzz and patterns on an international sampling frame (driversdbase) in 2008 especially after a win there cant be better 'message boards'.(sorry to go on about this but I am incredibly proud of it,I took a big risk and it worked beyond my wildest dreams and the very reason I went to Donington Park was to make sure Jez was happy with me doing it,I could not muck around with someone's career in that way without their consent it would not be right at all and unproffessional)

I was very pleasantly shocked by the way Jeremy has been documented on the CRS Wikipedia page on Jezers. I dont think any Jez fan could ask for more!!

Having said all the above I do not know how we will keep up these appreciation threads without much news. The racing season as started and Jeremy may not race though my guess and it is a guess it is possibly due to his University commitments more than funding. However unlike last season he seems to have more contact with the racing community which is a good sign,whether it comes to anything we wait and see.

If we do not manage to keep the threads active especially in view of the upcoming new show,we can hold our heads up high and I am sure Jeremy knows we have done our best.

Wow Wow when you read posts like this you begin to wonder why I have been singled and twisted on pm and pushed to the edge for going to races,meeting Jeremy and doing a photoshoot and dbase. Jeremy needs to start counting how many wikipedia pages he is on He is also now one of the famous students Salesian College is proudly showing the world.This is recent and includes 2010 info. I just hope he has friends after all this attention Interestingly he has not even tried!

The least viewed main forum Jeremy thread on my account is just below 1000 views and that was the 21st birthday one,a one day,low key thread for the main forum.

Interestingly I did one for Nathan about his new song at the weekend(which includes Flo Ryder from Alexandra Burke's no 1 single 'Bad Boys')and it did not attract any posts even after bumping it.It really says a lot imo,you would think that on an entertainment forum people would comment even if the song it is not good.

But Jeremy's racing and any other business of his seems to be of more interest,it just goes to show it is down to a person at the end of the day,their charisma and star quality.

We've all said so many times before how much we enjoyed CBBHJ and how petty it is of C4 to deny us and others who missed the show when they hid it away on E4 the chance to watch it on Youtube. No surprise that people far and away are interested in Jeremy, not only was he the best hm of all time but also happens to be a brilliant racing driver. I am certainly looking forward to hearing a lot more about him after he successfully completes his studies, should he wish to remain in the public eye.

Cant tell where this has been all along,but here Jeremy is being named as one of the best realty TV contestants,even outside of BB. Personally I do not think Jez has ever realised his impact.It maybe a good thing,it has kept him grounded and memorable. At least some 'unexpected' wikipedia articles have finallly realised,that should have sent out a clear message.

Jeremy is part of a team that will jump out of a helicopter ie sky dive with the Red Devils for charity sometime this summer. One member of the team is celebrating a landmark birthday and in the process they will raise funds for WellChild.Although this is a Metcalfe style adventure,it is not Jeremy led.In respect of the other members of the team I have decided not to put the link on this thread. However this is an online fundraising link,it can be shared(those managing it encourage distribution) and I am sure the team and the charity involved would welcome all donations.

Keep an eye to this thread people.It is not abnormal to have fundraising pages on this forum,there will always be sceptics.Seany BB8 has just taken a bold step and put his page in the main forum and written a very disastrous introduction post with imo.The reception is mixed.
But with the right PR skills,a thread like this can be very positive.The Metcalfe page is very different,but even with all the success I have had with Jeremy's threads,I cant risk the main forum,hence my decision not to even put it here.I think the risk with Jeremy's stuff,you have to judge the impact to some people off DS otherwise you just get ridiculous articles elsewhere. If this was a Jeremy only challenge or Jeremy and friends or collegues I would dont give a damn what anyone says.But it will be very irresponsible and disrespectful of me to drag the other team members into these issues as much as I would like to help.

I have never been a Seany fan but felt very sorry for him when people tried to derail his thread. I do not know Seany has worked me out soo quickly,I did donate coz that was what thread was about.But more importantly to me and it says a lot about him is that he sent me a pm 2 days ago not only to thank me for the donation but the whole thing in what he described as 'my good nature'. The intervention,thanks to ALL forum members,who sent me pms has paid off, an anonymous donor donated £1000 last night and now Seany is nearly there with his total sum.

Apart from knowing him for the 2wks on BB8,i I know nothing about him. So people(in motor sport that is) me,going to Jeremy's races and doing the things I have done here have nothing to do with anything!

God help us around here lol.I seem to be getting attached to Mario in BB11 already lol. Jeremy lookalike? The dark hair,charisma and intellect? Being picked on by BB? Hopefully I am not dissappointed and it turns sour. He has captured DS as well. I just hope he passes the task and lasts the distance.

Mario does remind me a little bit of Jez too. Same shape head and the very dark hair, also he is very popular with the others. But I'll stop right there as there's only one Jez. More to the point, I was struck by the whole mole concept, it smacks of Jez's wonderful moley, moley, moley suspicions of John being a mole ('a theory in progress' as he said to Amy). The similarities in Mario and Jeremy are maybe not as coincidental as first appears. Presumably the circus theme for this year's show is yet another happy coincidence - BBCHijack has definitely left its mark. I'm already fearing BB11 will not come even close to Hijack, Jeremy, Emilia, Victor and Amy still remain the best Fab Four in the history of the show.

Phil Edgar-Johns,the BB executive producer is very active on the forum atm under the name 'pej'.He is online atm but pops in now and then looking for ideas. If you need to see some Hijack ideas try to post in the threads.IMO Hijack hms have not been included in the spin off shows since Hijack and I have said that to him.I dont know if Jez would fancy that,he is free atm,unversities are off and like any 22 year old probably having a bast It would be nice to see him again on our screens.

We are deffo not getting the circus theme but in my eyes Mario ticks about 90% of the Jeremy boxes in personality.He is more reserved I think but charismatic,intelligent,confident,caring,very very clam,he does not bitch(Jeremy did not bitch at all throught out the entire series). Why is he even up for eviction? The very question we all asked our selves when Jeremy was first nominated.As Josie has said on tonight's show,he is getting more good looking by the day. I also feel like Jez he is being very modest about who he is and what he is capable of (the hms suspected him of being a Prince,he wears designer clothes),even the way he talks doesnt add up to 'unemployed' and a job in McDonalds in the past.

As such I agree Hijack really left its mark and for the first time since Hijack I am voting seriously and joining in the tactical strategy that has been agreed on the forum so that he is not up again too soon for no reason.

I am glad I am not the only one with these observations about comparing Mario to Jeremy.The one Jeremy box I was not sure of 'education' is here.I dont remember Jez bigging himself about how good his motor racing is either,even when Kate Lawler tried to get him talking.It must have shocked him how aware people can be of him when he wins,it will happen again

I know a few people have seen it before and I would like to thank those who have donated(this is one link I cant use my DS name,but I am on it).As I said earlier I was not confident to put this on the thread,the reason was because the pics were in a bundle and you had to click search them.Due to that I was not sure whether Denise Metcalfe(Jeremy's Mum) wanted her team to be seen or it was a private matter. It is a very thin line between private and public with things on the internet which involve a whole family even though it is an online fundraising link.However last week I realised that the arrangement of the pics had changed and is of the impression that they can be seen by anyone.
