The Strokes, Reptillia from Room On Fire

such a distinctive song, good musical notation, nice guitar tone. one of the strokes best. but the rest of the album sounds the same and boring.

'Don't Look Back In Anger' from whichever Oasis album it was on.

The only decent thing they ever did.

If you don't know which album it is from, how can you make that statement? To say that indicates you have not heard all of their albums?

Everyone in Liverpool loved The La's. But apart from the brilliant There She Goes, I listened to their album a few times in a desperate attempt to 'get it', and I never did.

Oh OK then.

To me though your contribution just seems invalid.

White Rabbit is excellence amongst the rest of Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane...an album I have heard from start to finish many times

Alicia Keys - "No One"

The rest of the album sucks IMO.

Beyonce's latest album 'B-Day' was absolute tripe. 'Irreplaceable' being the only decent song on the album. I took it back and got it refunded.

On Beyonce's "Dangerously In Love" the only decent track on there was "Crazy In Love".

"Open Your Eyes" by Snow Patrol. Bar a couple of other songs, which were only good as opposed to being outstanding, I thought the rest of the album was boring.

Ditto. In fact, the singles were the only decent things I found on that boring album.

Grace Kelly is by far the best Mika's ever done-most the others are either dull or annoying.

Way Out is the best song on the album - the whole album is superb for me.

Just shows how subjective music actually is..to me they are all inspiring, interesting, vivid, memorable. To you - boring - one mans meat and all that

I actually agree with him, dislike Snow Patrols recent album. I really enjoyed their older albums like Songs for Polarbears and Final straw. Feels like theyve sold out to be more mainsteam to be honest.

Disagree, that album has a few excellent tracks - 'You Only Live Once', 'Heart In A Cage', 'Razorblade'.

Most of the rest is rubbish though.

Chasing Cars and You're All I Have are the couple of other good songs that I mentioned. Other than that, I find them all boring.
