Albums where every song is brilliant...
...kind of inspired by the one standout song on an album thread, which album can you listen to the whole way through without there being a single track you don't like?
I have lots, one of them being The Door's debut album from 1967, entitled "The Doors". Not a bad song on it

Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run. One of the classic albums of all time. Not a weak song in my view anyway.

I don't really listen to albums as they're full of songs you haven't heard before so it's often a bit risky buying them.
But My Chemical Romance and The Scissor Sisters (My two current favourite bands) have had extremely few bad records IMO, so I would feel safe when buying their albums. |

Blind - The Sundays
Static and Silence - The Sundays. Not that I'm obsessed at all in any way! There are one or two tracks on Reading Writing and Arithmetic that I only quite like.

David Bowie - Low and Hunky Dory
R.E.M. - Automatic for the People Radiohead - OK Computer The Beatles - Revolver Pearl Jam - Ten I could also say Dark Side of the Moon, but I don't think that really counts as it's impossible (and illegal in some states of the US) to listen to the start without letting it finish anyway. |

Leona Lewis - Spirit
It's stunning, in my opinion, especially for a debut. There isn't one track I dislike, it's fantastic. |

What a sad state of affair the world has got to when people can't see past what they're spoon fed. Errrrrrrrrrrr all The Smiths albums bar Strangeways which has a duff closer. Rockin The Suburbs - Ben Folds. Daisies of the Galaxy - Eels. The Rise and Fall - Madness. Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division. The La's is another. |

"Who's Next" by The Who. Regarded by many as the best rock album of all time.

What a sad state of affairs when you can't accept other peoples opinions and have to resort to condescending comments because you disagree.
![]() And I have to agree with Hideaway, every song on Spirit is great. Took me a while for I'm You to grow on me but I've been listening to that much more recently. Oh noes! I like all the songs on Leona's album which automatically means I cannot see past what I'm spoon fed. Oh woe is me.

Thomas Dolby - Golden age of wireless
Queen - Queen I Queen - Queen II Queen - Sheer Heart Attack Queen - A night at the Opera Bjork - Debut Bjork - Post Bjork - Homogenic Every album released by my favourite German band, AND ONE. I must admit that is rather odd since AND ONE have released 10 albums and not a bad track on any of them. I keep expecting the next album to contain bad tracks. |

Mine would be "Spirit" by Leona Lewis and "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson. "My December" by Kelly is also fab but there are a few songs that aren't that great where as I love them all on "Breakaway".

Paranoid by Black Sabbath What I'm talking about is buying an album when you've only heard two or three of the songs by the artist. In this case you can never be sure if the rest of the album will match up. It's better to listen to most of the songs first as if you buy an album and it turns out to be rubbish you've thrown fifteen odd quid down the drain |
