Alesha in FHM

Alesha is apparently the cover girl, and main feature, in the February issue of lads mag FHM.

I haven't seen the magazine myself, but noticed the review below on a reputable lads mags reviews website. It's by a reviewer known as "zanmato":

"The cover star [for FHM] this month is Alesha Dixon. Who you might wonder? Well, she used to be a pop band ages ago and was recently crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion a few weeks ago on the BBC, if any of you didn't see it.

Anyway, as for the photoshoot itself - it sad to see we're once again back in the studio. The shoot has a few full-page shots, all of which are very bland and very boring. Nothing remotely adventurous attempted here, it just look like she's been put in the front of the camera, plain background behind her, done some very quick shots and that's it - job done. Quite a poor effort really. It would seem that Alesha is milking her new found fame for as long as it lasts which will be about 3 months and FHM is only to happy to help since I would think she wouldn't command a high fee unlike the more A-list celebs, this is more like C to D-list.

If you haven't gone out and got it yet, save yourself a few quid and leave it. You're not missing anything."

Not exactly helpful putting up one person's review - someone who was probably hoping for semi nude pics or something along those lines, as they've said nothing about her interview. And this isn't her first FHM cover, by the way.

ps: last week someone helpfully scanned the whole article and it's great

I wouldn't pay any attention to this poster. He clearly has an agenda. He's the one who called Alesha 'false' because wasn;t taking part in the tour

I think a lot of guys have been forced to watch Strictly by their wives, girlfriends or female housemates and have probably been imagining Alesha naked (or in something even skimpier than her Latin outfits!) for the whole series so she will probably be a big seller. Sometimes the "girl next door" types are preferable to the American "superbabes" who have false everything.

So, you haven't read it, but choose to add an unfavourable review by someone with bias unknown? How about finding a favourable review so that you can at least try to claim impartiality?

Besides, maybe some people don't need a whole load of baloney around them. There are few people you can literally stick in front of a camera and get the kind of photos there were with this interview. Frankly far more attractive than all these photos with people that have been plastered with make-up and photoshopped so that they bear just a passing resemblance to themselves.

how do you know we are not missing anything from reading a review from a lads mag website?

Do we look like the kind of people who wanted FHM to read from a lads mag point of view? I dont think so. We are SCD fans, Alesha fans and Matthew fans. We did not want no higgly jiggly topless apart from hands covering nipple shots. Alesha is a lady, lest you forget!!!!

And we have all read it as some wonderful person scanned it here. In fact I have a copy too even though I read it on here.

This thread was not at all helpful...

I will never understand negative people.

So she doesn't have her assets out then. I'm guessing that's why this reviewer doesn't like it.
