Can anyone out there advise me why my kef kit 100 home theater will not play CDs,It plays DVDs with no problems but everytime i put a CD in it says NO DISC ??? can you help

No they are just ordinary music CDs bought in any shop

Sounds like the laser has failed?, a DVD player uses separate lasers for reading DVD's and CD's.

The KEF service dept says "New loader required". Give them a call.
