If youve one pizza in Chicago, then surely youve done Giordanos. Really amazing.
Do love a Dominos though

Unfortunately unless you have a pizza oven then it is difficult to make a decent pizza yourself.

Pizza Hut use MSG in most of their foods, they are greasy, smell awful and are soggy, so they are ok if you don't care about your health too much. Dominos are a bit better. Pizza Express is always freshly made and no MSG or sh**.

Making a pizza at home is very easy. You don't need a fancy oven. Just good fresh ingredients and a little time!

Good work!!

Exactly, it's the cooking underneath that it needs. Heston came up with a cracking idea when he cooked one, but not tried it yet.

Who cares if its authentic or done correctly when it tastes good?

Why does it need to cook from the bottom then? How about cooking in a heavy based frying pan then transfer to grill as an idea!

They're expensive when you have my wallet

Dominoes for me. Pizza Hut fills me up to quickly and I haven't had a Pizza express in months!

Someone said Dominoes had poor customer service. When servers broke down we got a free large pizza!

True.

That's how pizza ovens work... the pizza is cooked from the underneith, I don't know historically why that would be the case but taht's how they work.

Well I suppose it's a technique... not sure it's still be a pizza though LOL

Pizza Express head and shoulders above the two others.
Dominos deliver incredibly fast (around here at least).
Wild horses wouldn't drag me to Pizza Hut!!!!
Having said all that, there's two local places around here which are better than any of them - lots of Italian ancestry in S.Wales.

Because that's how Pizza Ovens cook them.

Heat a heavy based frying pan for ages and then put it upside down in the oven with the pizza on top. That's what Heston did.

Wouldn't a Pizza stone do the same job? It does for me.

That's exactly how a pizza stone works but not everybody has one

I think mine was under a tenner. Another alternative is to go to a firm that does granite worktops and ask if you can have a mooch through their offcut dumping yard. You'll find something that'll fit in your oven and they'll usually give it to you for nothing. It doesn't have to be round or anything, just as long as it fits in your oven it will do the job.

I got a piece of granite offcut to use for making pastry on in truth it didn't even occur to me to use it as a pizza stone. good plan! Of course my plan involved a trip to Italy, never a bad thing

Pizza Express are the best, you can buy & cook them yourself in Sainsburys too and taste great.

Pizza Hut bread is like cake

Dominos are nice but too expensive.

Pizza Express.

Oh and their cheesecake is the best in the world. If only that was sold at Sainburys too!

Ordered a veggie (without cheese) pizza from pizza hut and when I got it delivered one of the slices (only one slice which I thought was strange) had those small pieces of beef they use all over it. I called to complain and they apologised and I got a new pizza but what were they playing at? 'Hope the veggie doesn't notice and eat the slice with meat on' joke?? I'll never use Pizza Hut again.
