Try Lidls frozen Steak Pie. I'm a good cook, but not great with pastry, and these are great if you need to cheat.

And me! Yesterday I cooked a pork shoulder for 9 hours on the lowest oven setting. The meat could have been eaten with a spoon it was that tender.
Long and slow is always best. That applies to other things as well!
