Yeast Free Diet
On the orders of my nutritionist I have to go on a yeast free diet. I'm already a vegan so it may prove a bit difficult. I would love some advice from anyone else who has gone yeast free and some meal ideas?
Thankyou!!

Tried a wonderful yeast free flat bread recipe this weekend -
2 cups strong white flour 3/4 cup water knead until smooth and leave for an hour divide into 8 and roll out into 8" circles sprinkle each circle with a mix of ground roasted cumin seeds and ground roasted peppercorns and salt (I think it was 2 teaspoons cumin, 1 teaspoon each of peppercorns and salt). Roll the breads into tight cigar shapes and then shape them into coils. Roll out again until the breads are about 8-10" and very thin. Cook each one for about 2-3mins on a heated griddle or frying pan lightly brushed with oil. These are delicious - we had them for breakfast on Sunday with dhal but they could easily be used as a spicy wrap for any fillings for your daily buttie. |
