New TV but which one?
Hello,
I am looking to get a new TV got around £500 to spend, maybe a 32 is the size i need, also looking to get a bracket to fit against the wall, but i would need a corner bracket, any suggestions about this? so i can angle the tv and push it back to the wall when not in use. Another problem i have is if i do put the tv on the wall, i have a DVD player and a BT Vision box to hide, whats the best thing to do regarding these? Or do i simply stick to a tv stand? Thanks for your expert help

We've recently bought one of these for a staff room at work - for the money, the performance is excellent. I've linked to one with a floor stand there, but it is available on the same site for £30 less for the wall mount version.
Wall brackets aren't cheap, particularly the adjustable variety, but they can look good - only you can decide what is best. If you do wall mount it, you will need to remember that you will have a mains cable, and the two cables from your DVD & BT box at the very least to hide - the easiest way would probably be in a conduit, but you might not like how that looks. |

![]() I would advise against a TV with DVD/HDD recorder built in - besides the fact that separate items tend to be of better quality than those that get built in, they are also more versatile and easier to replace if something goes wrong with them - if its all in one box, you are kind of committed to repairing it. Panasonic TV's are also very good in my opinion - we have one in another of the staff rooms at work, and have had it for about 18 months now - it only gets a couple of hours rest a day, and has never missed a beat. Wall mounting is entirely possible, and if you do it right it can look great - you can get self-adhesive conduit that will carry your cabling to the TV, and all you need for the other units is a shelf nearby. The beauty of the conduits is that they can be overpainted to blend them into the wall so they don't stand out too much. Of course, this means that your missus will want some decorating done once the TV is in place - don't say I didn't warn you!

I dont know which Panasonic to go for though TBO?! defo a 32 inch though as our lounge is 13ft x 11 so i think that would be perfect size, maybe a stand would look better perhaps? maybe a floating stand one like the one in your link?? Oh to keep the missus happy!!!!
