Who is your least favourate TV chef
Mine has to be Anthony Worral Thomson
He soooooooooo loves himself. On Daily cooks over Christmas and on Saturday cooks he sooooo flirts with anything in a skirt.. On the Christmas cooks programs him and that Linda Barker woman needed a bucket of cold water throwing over them. Oh and her whiney voice above everyone...........but thats another story. |

I can't say I actually have a liking for any of them - they all seem arrogant, full-of-themselves bigheads who think they're gods, just because they can cook half as good as my Mum did!
However, I detest Ramsey, Oliver, Fearnley-Whittingstall and Worrell-Thompson. |

![]() Other than that I can abide most of them, though I'm not overly keen on Gordon Ramsey.

I saw Fearnley-Whittingstall on a trailer for his new show, showing him setting up a 'battery' hen farm (for the sake of the TV show) and crying (real tears) about it saying it's 'not right'.
For a man who will quite literally eat anything (anyone remember him cooking and eating his friend's placenta?), I found this interesting. I can't say I'll be watching as I find documentaries like that distressing. But it'll be interesting to see if at least one of the TV chefs can influence something like intensive farming and make a difference to the appalling way certain farm animals are treated. If he does he'll earn a bit of respect, from me at least. Because up till now I haven't been able to stand him. |

I used to hate Jamie oliver, but since he tried to stop schools serving crap to kids he went up in my estimations. Although I'm not offendewd by f*cking and c*nting at all, Ramsey's swearing is simply too crass. |

Worrall Thompson, although I do have a modicum of respect as he at least runs his own restaurants. It's people like Harriott who really get on my tits though, not even a good chef.

Loathe ALL TV chefs except Hugh F-W, this chap really knows his meat, I've learned a lot from him about smoking and preserving and a few new ways with pigeon.

Two Fat Ladies. They make some of the least appetising stuff I've ever seen.
Anthony Worral Thomson is a miserable old sod too. I saw him practically bullying Gino Dicampo on his show which really annoyed me. Plus there's the fact that he burned his faggots on The Great British Menu show and served them. What kind of chef does that? |

Two Fat Ladies for me...(or not for me, rather...)
As for H F-W, can I be Mrs F-W please? (or at least his side-dish...!) |

Tamasin Day-Lewis - she is even worse than Delia at stating the bleedin' obvious. Luckily, she doesn't appear to have made it across to the mainstream channels yet - she spends her life lurking on UKTV Food with her creepy friends...

I used to love Jonty Road (as I thought his name was) but even he's turned all toady and wierd - there's a nice Italian guy but don't know his name - the rest are all pretentious idiots
and don't even start me on Nigella
