Ipod Nano Battery
simps100
07-01-2008
Hi All,

I use a Ipod stereo in my car so im able to just plug in a lead and control / listen to my ipod in the car, this morning when i did this it didnt seem to work, and ive noticed i cant even turn the ipod on, i simply get a battery symbol on the screen with a !, i assume this is a critical battery but i would have thought that it should have let it charged and be ok, will this be ok when i connect it to my pc tonight or is it broken?

Thanks

Marc

Reset it and see how it goes from there - you won't lose anything. Hold down the Menu and centre button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Sometimes you may need to toggle the Hold button on and off first. This usually sorts out most niggling problems. Failing that - you can do a reset to factory settings from iTunes. Always worth going through the support on the iTunes website though for particular problems.

Wow thanks. Just come across this by accident as my daughters has just failed. It fixed it, many thanks.
