I recently purchased an I pod Nano for my daughter, Xmas present Everything was going fine,She was able to purchase from I tunes, Now our OS (Vista home premium) isnt recognising her device, Any suggestions please, I emailed Apples Tech Team, awaiting an answer, Is this the price I pay for not having a Mac PC?

Do we look at the I pod thinking of "are you still with us " lol lol lol

apple.com/support/discussions

data corrupted - may have unplugged without ejecting disc.
open itunes, then plug in ipod
when ipod is connected. hold menu and centre button for around 5secs - this resets the ipod. I sometimes have to do this as my imac occasionally doesn't recognize it.
