I have searched forums but cannot locate any posts, so I apologise if this question has been raised before.
Does anyone have any ideas please regarding the following.

The machine is 18 months old and is only used occasionally to transfer from Sky+.
When loading blank +rw discs I get the C13 error code and caption saying 'cannot load disc'. This also happens with pre-recorded discs. The error code tells you to clean the disc. I have done this and also used a disc head cleaner, I have also carried out a reset to factory settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably the optical assembly that's faulty?, however you have to replace the entire DVD mechanism which makes the repair completely non-viable.

The GX120 though has been an exceptionally reliable machine, we've sold hundreds, and I've only ever seen one faulty one! (so far) - unlike the higher spec GX210, which has been exceptionally unreliable!.

Thank you for your response, I thought that the repair may end up as not being worth it. Unfortunately I did not take out any extended warranty!!
