Virgin Media STB and Panasonic DMREX75
Am thinking of gettng Virgin Media to go with my Panasonic DMREX75.
Currently the Panasonic DMREX75 is connected via HDMI, but as we only have one digital tuner, we cannot record 1 channel whilst watching another digital channel. So I thought i'd introduce Virgin TV into the mix, connect via scart to TV, so we can watch Virgin TV, whilst recording a freeview channel using the the Panasonic DMREX75, solving the inablity to watch digital tv whist recording, plus I get Setanta sports too.... My other half thinks im missing something...cant think for the life of me what.... Stuart |

Stuart However if you are happy with the Freeview channels then it would probably be better to get a Freeview PVR instead that will let you record one channel (or two channels) whilst watching another. You would keep the DVDR for archiving and playing DVDs plus as an extra channel to record/watch. If you want Virgin then maybe consider the V+. I'm not with Virgin though so don't know the pricing of that. |
