Anybody out there enjoy a piece and jam?

You cannae beat a big doorstep of bread, smothered in butter and strawberry jam!!! Delicis.

Anybody else like this????

A piece! Awww, I haven't heard that term for years. I used to live in Dundee and heard it all the time, but you don't hear it down here.

A piece is a scottish word for sandwich. Two slices of bread slapped together with something in the middle.

Oooh...a jelly piece !!

Now, I love bread and butter, I also love a pice n jam...but I detest a piece with butter AND jam,,,dunno why but can't stand it

Why have that when you can have a deep fried mars bar???

Sometimes, I've seen people putting a Scotch pie on a piece. YYYEEUUGGHHHHHHH

But as to a piece supper .... hhmmmm ....... who knows???
