I seem to remember DS saying it was on a trial basis. If so, how long will the trial be? It seems to be popular so I really hope it becomes permanent! There's a dearth of good cooking forums in the UK.

Thirded! I really like this forum, so much so that it is always open in a tab in my browser. It keeps all the food and drink topics in one place and therefore makes it easy and pleasant to navigate through. I often find myself getting hungry reading through the threads here though!

I like this forum - I can't cook, but I like reading ideas.
Maybe if any of us see foody type threads in General Discussion or Advice, we should point them in this direction? It would improve the hit rate here, making it more likely to become permanent.
