Has anyone successfully been able to put miomaps/IGo/Route66/Destinator 7 onto the N95 and use the inbuilt sirfIII?

Also, Is it possible to use the phone as a GPS receiver for a laptop/PC?

God im sick of being asked to pay for services that nokia require no money for!!!!

Don't know if this link can help at all. I have just managed to set up the GPS thing although not actively used it yet.

I use garmin xt mobile works perfect with inbuilt n95 gps receiver, no charges and free Navigation, can even do your own custom POI's (point of interests) ive had lots of fun customising mine try searching google for garmin xt mobile or try torrent huh hmmmmm

I also wonder if TomTom are going to release their navigation software for N95 internal GPS Receiver, that will be brilliant too
Not heard any updates yet only it will work with S60 V3 phones like mine but only external bluetooth receivers at the moment

good luck

That's what I've done and it works a treat. Never even opened up the Nokia one as I knew it cost money!

The Nokia one only charges for voice directions, doesn't it?

Garmin appears to be paid-for. Unless you're advocating piracy?!
