32" lcd tv, which one?
I am soon to be in the market for a 32" lcd tv and have narrowed it down to couple of brands.
I like the looks and reviews of both the Toshiba 32c3035 and the Sony 32s3000 but is the Sony worth paying the extra for? My father bought a Sony dvd recorder when they first came out and it only lasted couple of years,if that, yet he paid twice the price of other recorders at the time. Was he just unlucky? I have also looked at the Evesham Alqemi vx lcd tv's, and although the reviews seem good I don't know much about the make. Any comments would be appreciated. |

Just upgraded my 32" Tosh, for a 40" Tosh 40xf355DB.
I was going for a Tosh 37", but, whilst the 40" has a bigger screen, the overall size of the set is SMALLER than the 37" I have had no problems at all with any of them. The only thing when I got the 32", after a while, I wished I'd got a 37". |

Given that Evesham have gone bust, I'd suggest you steer clear....

What ever you decide get it from John Lewis. if you dont like it they will change it and all TVs have a 5 year Gtee. The Sony is 599 at the moment. If you find it in a local shop cheaper they will price match.
Its a beauty http://www.johnlewis.com/Technology/...8/Product.aspx |

Give the Panasonic TX-32LMD70 a look at, it also comes with a 5 year warranty from John Lewis and the same price as the Sony, I personally bought the Panasonic last December from a local retailer, well impressed. The Panasonic was well rated in all the reviews I've read. In the end though it's down to personal preferences.

The Sony comes with a 5 year guarantee anyway, and so 'did' the Panasonic - I don't know if the offer is still running for Pansonic or not?.
