Having bought a sandwich toaster/grill yesterday,I am now curious to know what is everyones favourite toasted sandwich fillings.

So far,I have just made the cheddar cheese ones and not got round to using my usual cooking head.

Ham & Cheese.

Mozzarella, sundried tomato and pesto is nice.

bananas with a bit of butter and brown sugar

smoked salmon and cream cheese

Ham/Cheese sliced toms and sliced peppers!!

Corned Beef and a bit of ketchup to dip it in. Surprisingly tasty, as is bacon & banana (cook the bacon until crisp first though!).

Ham and red onion, dipping into mayo when eating (don't out the mayo in the sandwich, it's horrible warm...)

Beef and coleslaw sounds weird, but is very nice.

What ever you do, make sure there's plenty of butter on the outside of the bread. Yummy. I love proper toasty makers but won't buy one, because I know that's all I'd eat if I did own one.

Thats what I found out,three yesterday and one today for breakfast,so tasty!

Red Leicester, mushrooms and baked beans, with a dash of Henderson's Relish and a sprinkling of black pepper.

Cheese, tomato, red onion and sweetcorn.

Cheese & Tuna & Sweetcorn

Ham and cheese (mozzerella) with thousand island sauce for dipping. Sounds revolting but it's lovely.

Focaccia with sliced chicken breast, mozarella, sundried tomato, roast peppers and basil - in fact, I had one from the local sandwich shop today.

Brie, bacon and cranberries on brown bread.

Absolutely lush.

tuna cheese and sweetcorn or ham cheese tomato and spring onion

Cheese and beans is my fav

cumberland sausage, mozzarella, tomatoes, spring onions and olives. mmm

Ham and cheese. I'm boring

Ham and cheese with a generous helping of Branston pickle which takes on a different flavour when warm!
