My friend in London W9 says he's still waiting for his emails to come in - and I, in London SW16, should have had bucketsful of Freecycle emails that haven't been coming in since the 9th. My main 'regulars' I've changed to Virgin.net but not Freecycle.

Something is definitely still wrong.

Hi

There is still aproblem I have had only three emails since Thursday last week. I know people have sent me emails over the weekend and also today but nothing is coming through.

Outgoing is working ok.

So there still seems to be a major problem for me

Aside from a two hour period on Friday, I'm getting emails as normal in SW11

I used to be on the Croydon server, but the last time my internet went completely down Homechoice told me I was on Greenwich or somewhere like that, way out east I wonder if Battersea and Streatham are on different servers?

I need some examples of this. This will require email addresses.
You can email forumsupport@uk.tiscali.com. with your email address and I'll forward them to the guy that's looking into this. This email address is reserved for Tiscali forum members to send over their private details to keep them out of the forum, but not used for logging problems. Mark the email for my attention and the team will make sure I get it. Do not try to log any service issues through this address.

They were sent from a work email address on Friday and I'm not back in again until tomorrow. On Friday they hadn't bounced.

Still nothing coming through, If I send an e-mail from an external account to my homechoice account or throught the homechoice SMTP server then I don't receive it and I get nothing back.

If I go into the webmail and send myself or my wife an e-mail then they come through straight away, unfortunately this is a little bit of a limitation.....

I have always been pleased with the homechoice broadband service. Until now the biggest annoyance has been that I receive my bill at the very end of the month and all of the coming soon and channel of the month type messages relate to the month that has just passed.

Hoping it gets sorted soon.

Most emails sent to my Homechoice addrees dont arive. Im missing untold mails i know i should have recieced.
This is about six days now and ive decided to get my own domain for my emails. Im changing ISP aswell Tiscali are a JOKE!

I'm having the same problems with my email still. I usually get at least 20, i'm lucky if I get one a day at the moment on that address.....tiscali really need to sort this out!!

I received a lone email addressed to my Homechoice address, timed at 02.20 this morning, from admin@gadgetspeak.com. However I have not received emails that I've sent to me at the same address from my Homechoice or Virgin addresses.

I've also had people tell me they've now received bounces. At least they know the mail never arrived.

I'vehad a large batch of Freecycle emails in this afternoon, some have a send date of 13th. Still must be loads missing from 9th onwards.

My friend in W9 has just sent me a test message from his Homechoice address and it's arrived.

I still have only had 3 emails today, making a total of 5 in two days! Most of them test messages I sent out from Sunday and Monday but nothing else that I know has been sent. I am on the Greenwich server.

Anyone here having trouble logging onto HC webmail at the moment (2131hrs) ???

I just get this message:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

I'm in London SW1. How can I tell what server I am on?

I failed to get any Homechoice email from last Saturday to yesterday, when I got a few, and now I am again receiving none. I spoke to the Tiscali 'support' people (on the Homechoice number), who said they didn't know what was wrong and didn't know when it would be fixed. Sullen attitude and no apology offered. The old Homechoice people were much better than this. This is disgraceful, and I'm seriously thinking of closing my account, despite having been a customer for six years.

Any information on what's actually happening gratefully received. TIA.
