What are your best kitchen gadgets? I have several that I use all the time and can't recommend highly enough, the latest being a vacuum food saver. No more freezer burn for left overs. Also great for buying in bulk and dividing into portions and freezing, which saves money.

I have a corkscrew that is fantastic, nothing special or expensive, just a simple waiters friend that I picked up in the US. I'm dreading the day it breaks!

With screwtops coming in, perhaps it won't matter if it breaks as long as it is in the future!!!

I do like the screwtops for convenience, but there's nothing like that satisfying "pop" when you uncork a bottle of plonk!

I love my global knifes too, but they are on the way out.

We have one of those crazy V Slicer things. It's great, especially for onions.

Yeah George's are good but I really like my steamer. It makes rice and chicken really well and you can cook a whole meal in them and there supposed to be healthy.

I don't know about your Lakeland store but on the top floor of ours they keep all their bargains, it's fatal if I call in, I always come out with piles of stuff.

Couldn't live without my Kitchenaid mixer which I use almost daily for kneading bread. My Kitchenaid food processor and blender are also both very good though they don't get used quite so often.

Cooks Essentials pressure cooker, fantastic. Cooks the veg quickly and retains the flavour. Use it everyday.

Cooks Essentials electric slicer, grater, julienne, chipper etc. Used to have a V-slicer, was very good, but scary! This is brilliant, and only about £28 from QVC

I love kitchen gadgets. I've got this gadget you use on a fresh pineapple. You slice the top, stick it in, twist it around and pull it out and you get all the pineapple out in a handy spiral ring!

I've been known to buy pineapples just to play with my toy!

Here it is!

Cheap tongs, simple design - most useful gadget in the kitchen.

I use my George Foreman far more than I ever thought I would (it was a present) - wouldn't be without it now.

Also absolutely love my Kenwood Chef, which was an ebay bargain a few years back. Takes up loads of room in my tiny kitchen but it does get used 2 or 3 times a week at least.

Ikea set of 3 pots and I have two sets of them. Bought the first set about 5 years ago, then liked them so much I bought a second set a few years ago.

Another thing that I use a lot is a Pasta Pot, like this one only narrower and taller. As the lid 'screws' on it leaves your hands free for both handles, while your not losing any heat transferring the pasta to a colander. Also great soup pot

Yea, I've got one of those, but since the bloody thing tried to take my finger off, I've been too scared to use it.
My two favourite gadgets (if you can call them that) are my big chefs knife and one of those small spiral whisks that I got in Lakeland (I love that shop !)

A Waiters Friend is simply the best and easiest corkscrew on the market - Don't worry about it breaking they are widely available in the UK.

My steamer completely de-stressed Sunday mealtimes - makes cooking veg soooo easy and tastes great too!

LOL! Brings back memories, used to use one all the time when I lived in Spain.

ESSENTIAL for any kitchen. From turning sausages over to lifting a full chicken out of the roasting pot.
