![]() So who prefers to wear shoes, what type, and who's a bootlover like me, and again what type do you prefer? Oh yeah: and why? |

I love boots - always feel a bit more glam when I'm wearing them. Not very good with really high heels though and as I take a size 9 there's not usually much choice when I go looking for shoes anyway.

For more glam occasions, I have a pair of flat suede riding-type boots which I love. They are comfortable, warm and eye-catching as well. I detest heels with a passion becuase they are painful and completely the wrong shape for my feet.
At other times, my pink trainers or my Rocket Dog pumps. |

I have loads of shoes and boots. I love knee high leather boots though, i feel sexy when i wear them over my jeans. I could probably open a shop with the amount of footwear i have....I only own one pair of trainers, i don't like flats at all

Love boots for the winter, but I need a comfy pair for walking about uni, so currently wearing tan, knee high ones that I can wear with jeans. Heeled boots can be very sexy as well.
In better weather, I wear anything from ballet pumps to flip flops (not a big trainers fan) but you can't beat a pair of killer heels for a big night out or a date! |

Why must I choose? I have training trainers, funky trainers, cute pumps, high heels, clunky work shoes, sandals (both fancy and birkenstock), high boots, knee length boots, ankle boots, flip-flops, wellies (both green and dull, and flowery festival), baseball boots, slingbacks. I genuinely could go on and on.
This is the beauty of being a woman, or choosing to dress like a woman. There is really no need to choose. They all have their place in any girl's wardrobe. |

StaceyLynn,
No doubt you'll correct me if I'm wrong ( may have missed a thread or two) but I think this makes it 4-2! |

I've always had a fascination for shoes and boots, they must have a med to high heels, don't own a pair of flat shoes. In the summer I wear sparkly toe post flipflops, handbags are another of my weaknesses.

I love shoes. All kinds of shoes. I prefer heels, but the majority of the time I wear flats. If I'm wearing flats they have to be 'pretty' i.e have some detail, I don't like plain flats.
With heels it doesn't usually matter, and I actualy have more plain heels. I prefer very high heels, and only wear about 3 inches+. I love wearing boots in the winter and I've got about five pairs! My favourite are a pair of long, black, leather heels. I love wearing them over jeans. |

Wow! Finally tracked down my thread --- here, boy! Come to mama!
![]() Thanks for all the replies (I didn't even know this section EXISTED!) --- I can see that there are a lot of differing opinions, and as one poster said, why have to choose? Well of course we don't, but just as a personal preference I lean towards boots. I just find them sexier, and indeed I'm more comfortable in them (as in, they give me more support than shoes), but they have to have heels --- I don't like flat boots. That's probably a TV thing --- we want to look as feminine as we can, so you gotta have the old high heels! ![]() I have a good few pairs, I would say in the region of seven maybe, and I bought two new pairs yesterday. I prefer the ones that zip up at the side, and although I haven't got a pair yet I do intend to buy a pair of thigh-high boots --- I've seen those Kate Moss ones on sale, and they look uber-sexy! ![]() Personally, I can wear boots with just about anything --- skirts, dresses, jeans, pants, even lingerie if I'm doing one of my shoots for the website. I can wear shoes, and do, but I find that in contrast to boots, they tend to cut me across the flat of my foot after a while. Maybe it's the strap, or else they pinch at the side. My boots almost never do that. So yes, I'm a boots girl!

Shoes, so much easier to just slip on. No tying involved!

I'm really getting into boots now and have recently bought 2 leather pairs in the sale...which I absolutely adore: one flat, one high-heeled and both great for tucking my jeans into. Infact I'm wearing the high-heeled ones for the first time today. Felt they might be a bit slutty for work at first but I managed to disregard this.
Both very comfy, the only problem being neither have zips so they take me an age to take off at the end of a day's wear. That will hopefully get easier as time goes on though.

Boots, unless it's something boots are too fancy for, then trainers. I literally own no shoes other than dancing ones. I tend to wear knee high boots that're wide enough to tuck my jeans into when it's raining - which is most of the time. I can deal with any height of heel, and find chunky heels easier to walk in that flats.
