The Beautiful Pacific 1002

After nearly a week of going back and forth from Asda in Small Heath, I now have a lovely little machine, namely the Pacific 1002. It really is quite cool, playing MPGs without havin to author them to a VCD, and the SVCD playback is also excellent. Anyway, I just wanted to know what the experiences with this have been on the whole, and what problems people have encountered, while I wait I am going to watch a movie that I um...downloaded......but of course......it aint breaking any copyright laws that I know of, but then I am quite naive.

Hi just wondered if anyone knows of a hack for this model.

I just bought this dvd/home cinema for a bargin, there was a half price opening thing at my local dixons. for £199.

I've got a samsung 511 which is about 2/3 years old now, and had that region free since day 1. i can't afford not to hald a muli-region player as got about 90 r1 dvd's. i have found a way to set my old dvd player with my home cinema. so that's not a problem, but rather my sharp dvd player play them direct.

Tried

www.dvdanswers.com
www.sharp.co.uk
www.dvdrewier.co.uk

Has anyone got any toher sites i might try.

i know the sharp model can be hacked so is it a waiting game for someone to find it out or not

Thankd
