We sell both, and the pictures on the Toshibas in the shop aren't a patch on the Sony ones.

I, on the other hand, own a Toshiba 32WLT58, and the picture for both SD and HD is absolutely outstanding

I read plasma TVs are meant to be better for larger screens. I already have a 42" plasma, 42PF5521D.
How would the Sony compare for pq on the 46"? I have sky hd & ps3 running at 1080i, would the difference we considerable? Would sd quality be better? |

Generally SD is better on a Plasma and HD better on an LCD - both for the same reason, an LCD is sharper.
Although with decent quality modern sets the difference is less these days. You should go and compare the pictures on the sets you're interested in. |
