Hitachi 32LD8D20
Hi!
We've just bought one of these from Argos (ex-display for only £250) and can't get the remote control to work. Can anybody tell me the model no of the remote that should be supplied with this TV as I suspect we've been given the wrong one. I've checked the remote with my PDA and it is sending out a signal. (We've got a CLE-966A remote) Bryan |

If you have a Goodmans,Bush,Alba,Beko remote in the house it may well work the Hitachi as they don't make their own LCD's. I had a Hitachi LC26-6600, a Goodmans 14" portable remote accessed all the main menu functions etc, happy hunting mate.

It's back down to Argos tomorrow morning!
I've got it working (almost) from the Sky+ remote. WE were supposed to get the 32LD8700 but when I set it up I noticed that all the connections were in the wrong place. The box and manuals were for the 32LD8700 but the TV is a 32LD8D20. We bought it through a relative who works at Argos so will have no problem sorting it out (even got his staff discount!). I've tried a Beko remote and that did't work. Bryan |

Problem solved.
It was the wrong remote we were given. |
