Stuffed Mushroom/ Stuffed Peppers
One of my new year resolutions was to try new foods, I tooteled off to Asda and bought some large peppers and mushrooms with the intention of making stuffed mushrooms/peppers.
Does anyone have any recippes? And advice on how long to cook them etc? Thanking you in advance!

Stuffed marrow is nice. Cut it into rings, fill with bolognaise (just cooked like you were making spaghetti bolognaise) and then cover with cheese sauce and bake in the oven. Delicious.

I reckon you can put almost any sensible combination of leftovers etc into a pepper or one of those big field mushrooms, sprinkle some cheese over the top, bake it and it'll be lovely.

well nice big mushrooms for breakfast are lovely topped with scrambled eggs.
if you brush the top of the mushrooms with oil and grill then do the same to the underside whilst you make the scrambled eggs ( and if you like smoked salmon stir in some) then top the mushrooms with the egg, dash of worcester sauce and away ya go. |

I chop the tops off, fill peppers with a mix of cooked rice, cheese and any meat that is in my fridge (ham, chicken).
I add spices (chilli / garlic) as necessary and then put the tops back off and whack in the oven for 15-20 mins |
