Left over gammon...

got tonnes left over from sunday lunch, has anyone got any tried and test receipes for it to do for a meal tomorrow, the quicker the better, and without peas! my OH hates them

I think cold gammon with chips is nice. Fried egg too?

Mince up gammon, mix with mashed potato make into pats and shallow fry, Rissoles

thank you, the gammon and chips was my OH's suggestion but then he loves chips (and would eat them every night given half a chance!), rissoles sound good though I think I will give them a go.

In an omelette.
In a home-made tomato, onion and mushroom sauce with fresh tagliatelli.
You could make a steamed bacon suet pudding.

you could dice it and add to a carbonara sauce.. served with taglietelle and warm crusty bread.

OMG!!!!!!! My mum makes bacon and onion suet pudding... so delicious. *drool*

Another way to use it is to put it in soup, it can really flavour home made soup

cube and add to cauliflower florettes and then top with either a cheese sauce, or a nice onion sauce.

thanks everyone, tagliatelle it was with mushroom sauce, lovely, the rest I have currently bubbling away with some veg for a chunky soup
