Is there any way to stop the network sending a prompt about my credit level or minutes used every time i make a call or send a text? It's really annoying as my K800 won't receive any messages until it's cleared, and if i lock the keypad without remembering i can go all day missing texts!

Someone else had the same problem, there should be a thread about it but I think they were advised to call O2 CS and ask them to take it off.

I think its a good service letting you know how much credit is left on your phone.

I did find it useful until I got this phone, where it's become more of a hindrance than a help!

May be a good service , if it arrived once per day , I guess it is doing what its supposed to but I agree it could be a nuisance if you get a text every time you send a message and need to read it before you can send another

I have an 02 pay monthly contract with inclusive minutes and I asked 02 to send me a text reminder if I went over my monthly allowance and started to build up a bill .

I used to have this set up before but now its been discontinued .

My friend is having trouble getting theirs as its stopped without any reason. E-mailed O2 asking them to tun it on and they say its on already. Rang them to ask them to turn it off then back on to reset the system. They did that and the alert still doesn't come through.

bloody credit notifications - used to do my head in when I was on pay as you go. even if you sent a message which was free??!?

If you wanted to know your credit, you'd just check it yourself!

I got around to calling them today, said it would be done in 4 hours but I still get them. Probably meant 24 hours so I'll check tomorrow.

If you haven't set up a password with them, they ask for your phone number, the date you last topped up, the method you topped up, how much it was and your current balance. I couldn't get all of them exactly right but that was enough for them
