I know i only discovered their site last night too and agree there is some stunning pictures on there. They make such a lovely couple. I sent them a message through the contact part saying how gutted i was Fred went, what amazing skaters i thought they were, how much i enjoyed their routine on the tour last year etc and i got a message back from Fred tonight, obviously he has nothing better to do now he has no celebrity to train. lol But he did say hopefully we'll continue to see much more of him and Mel on the series and the tour so there is hope yet he'll be involved in some pro dances later on!! Im so excited for next week now!

I actually missed the results show on sunday, my housemate wanted to watch something! I watched long enough to find out if Greg was through then had to turn over. I'll watch on the ITV website when I get round to it. I don't know if I wanna see Fred all sad though!

And i know what you mean it was very sad to see him so sad and especially as Phillip got his surname wrong twice as well. What an insult!! He also said him and Sarah were gutted they would no longer be continuing together on the show. Bless him.

The T&D/pro routine that started off the show was amazing! I love that lift/drop thing they always do. I'm gonna go watch their Moulin Rouge routine from the tour again! I can't even stay upright on skates, let alone do any of that! I can ski, you'd think I'd find it easy but aparently not

Where about in America are Mel and Fred from?

Well according to my tour brochure Fred was born in Cleveland, Ohio and Melanie was born in Boston. And i agree they do indeed make a very attractive couple and their routine on the tour was my favourite, it was amazing, so fast and technical, i love the lift/drop thing they do too. I mean where do you even begin training for something like that, they must have so much trust in each other, although that can be said for all the skaters but Mel and Fred are just so adorable. Hehe.

I'm gutted Michael's out, I'm going to miss Mel a lot, she's amazing to watch and has built up such a great connection with her celebs. Having Fred back will soften the blow somewhat, I admit, but still.... I hope we still see her in training and stuff!

Oooh i know i just read it, excited to see them in the group performance with Westlife, bring on the skate off show! lol

And they said look out for another big surprise too, do you think thats Fred coming back?! Because it isn't actually stated on their website anywhere is it?!

I hope if he is for definite then he gets a good partner this time and if that isn't the surprise then am intrigued to see what it is.

However i am very sad Melanie and Michael are out still, they were such a good couple and Mel seems so funny and cool from the training highlights and also those video things she used to do with Kyran and Stephen last year, she will be missed. At least hopefully we will have Fred back to help soften the blow as you said, would still be even better if they were both in the competition though. Well we can always hope for good things next year! lol

I'm so excited that they'll be skating in the pro performance! I'm really sad Mel's out the competition but it's great we still get to see her skate I love watching Kyran clips, they made such an excellent partnership.

Oooh exciting Mel and Fred news from their website for this week, they will be performing a brand new routine on the 'Make Me A Star' show. And then in Freds blog it says that during this performane Melanie will be performing with yet another new celebrity partner, and that they are from a past series of DOI but he doesnt reveal who as hes not sure hes allowed and also doesnt want to ruin the surprise. Bless him, he seems so adorable.

Looking forward to the 'Make Me A Star' show now, and will be nice to have Mel back even if it is only a one off. lol Intrigued to see who she'll be skating with aswell.

Also it says they will both be involved in a group performance along with all the other pros on the sunday show. Yay! So excited for the weekend now! lol

My friend got tickets for Make me a Star, I hadn't actually heard of this spin off programme. So I got to see them earlier this evening. They were AMAZING! After their first run through I was hoping they would do it again...they did!!
