I think while poor Chris is recovering from hs shoulder injury, they should take the oppurtunity to show off the professionals and for Fred and Mel to open the show with a candyman routine will really boost that kind of skating and all those holiday on ice type tours.

It's nice to go back to the heart of ice dancing though, not so much tricky lifts and more intepretation and fancy footwork and connections with partners. Although I wouldn't mind seeing more gymnastic stuff on ice every once in a while just to go wow!

I love Fred and Mel they are my favourite pros! I hope they do well this year and hopefully we get to see them skate together!
