o2 web bolt on

i have an o2 xda2i mobile and im going to put a pay as you go sim in it so i can use it for a o2 unlimited web bolt on my question is is there any way of knowing how much data youve used

You should be able to get the bolt on balance from the bolt on menu, altho mine isn't setup right so I get my Rewards balance instead.

Also try txting Balance to 50202.

my fone has a data in and out log, perhaps yours does too?

well i rang o2 and they said i could use a pay as you go sim in this phone but after i bought one and i couldnt connect i rang them and they said i couldnt get the internet on this phone with a pay as you go sim as it is a contract phone so that cards been cancelled and a refund is on its way.

so ive had to get a bolt on added to my xda orbit which is on contact and why didnt i just do that i hear you cry well coz my phone connects to gprs when it feels like it and i didnt want to go over my allowance and get a huge bill but ill see how it goes.

my xda 2i hasnt had a sim in it for over a year and theres no contract on it

well I got a call form O2 yesterday, and I ask them about web bolt ons.

£3 - 3MB
£7.50 - 200MB
£30.00 - Unlimited.

Bit expensive at the moment. Does anyone know what EDGE is?

they call it 2.75G. it's faster than GPRS.

I'd pay £15 but thats way too much.
