Picked up this simple recipe in the States recently.
Take one Ritz Cracker.
Plonk on some grated Parmesan.
Wrap in half a rasher of streaky bacon.
Bung in low oven for two hours.

That's it, and a lighter, crispier, tastier morsel you could not wish to find, I kid you not! Especially nice with a drinkypoo!

I worked in a shop selling china many years ago and we often had people (including staff) talking about can-apes (two syllables) dishes. They were a classy bunch.

EDIT: The snack sounds very nice if slightly heart stopping in the quantities I would probably eat.

We like ritz crackers with plain philadelphia, topped with roasted red peppers or olives. Yum!
