What TV for the kids bedroom???
Okay before we start with the sarcasim etc - they are not square eyed and are restricted to the amount of TV they watch!
For those who are helpful, here we go: My ten-year-old is coming upto her birthday and has asked for a new TV for her room. She currently has a 4:9 portable with built-in DVD player. I am looking for a wall mountable flat screen 16:9 with maybe built-in DVD, it will be connected to a Sky+ box via a magiceye. Nothing too big and was wondering if anyone can recommend anything??? Preferably Wall Mountable Thanks in anticipation. |

Television in kids rooms is not a good idea. How do you know they are not going to watch things late at night? I know I did.

Good to see that the first reply completely ignores the OP's first paragraph!
Will your daughter be using a PC in her room? Would it be worth looking at something which would double as a monitor (obviously if that were the case then you may not wish to wall-mount it)? |

I doubt my mother would have approved if she knew that I was watching adult films at night when I had school next day. |

FWIW I agree with you - I had Sky (analogue) when I was about 13/14 and remember vividly the day I discovered what SAT1 and RTL used to broadcast in the evenings! But the OP came here for advice about TVs, not parenting.

I was looking at something like this: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...29%3D15.15.htm but it's not wall mountable which is important. |

Tesco
Tesco had a 19" wall-mountable TV in stock before Christmas. It's their own Technika branch and not too bad for the price (also pc input and DTV as well as built in DVD player))
