I've got a Sony DSC-T1 digital camera, which I bought back in September 2004. I had used it regularly since and must have taken quite a few thousands of photographs.
However, a few weeks ago, something weird happened. I turned my digital camera on, and randomly, the LCD display was much darker than usual. As if the brightness was far too low. I took a picture and checked it out, and it came out in dark reddish colours and the picture quality was poorer than usual. My settings had not been tampered with, they were all exactly like how they were before, just that the camera started randomly taken crappy photos as if something strange happened to the lens, or something inside, all of a sudden.
Does this sound familiar to anyone, or does anyone have any idea on what could be done to rectify it? I would rather not shell out on a new digital camera.
