Mixed seafood - ideas to use up?

We've got a few random bags of seafood in the freezer that need using up. I was thinking of throwing them all together in a tomato based sauce... anyone ever made something similar?

Or any other ideas on how to use it up welcome

Ooh seafood risotto - but not the faffing about kind of risotto where you add your stock bit by bit. I don't that anymore as I never noticed the difference if I just stuck it all in at once.

I do my rice with loads of garlic (so I don't need the onions) and some peas. And if you put a bit of turmeric in it too it turns the rice yellow and makes it look even more appetising.

I defrost and then cut the sea food into bits so that it needs less time to heat through when you stick it in right at the end.

Yummy

Before I became veggie I used to love mixed seafood in a garlicky tomatoey sauce with pasta - used to be one of my favourite meals. The same base is also good wrapped into tortillas and made into enchiladas.

In a pan with a bit of passata and a bit of salmon cut into fork-size bits. Have with fresh tagliatelli, garlic bread and rose. Wins every time.

You could use it as a starter mixed with some cocktail sauce and a few salad leaves.

Heat some olive oil.
Add chopped ginger and garlic, then some sliced red chillies and the seafood until heated through, finally add sone spring onions and some oyster sauce, garnish with fresh corriander.
Serve with basmati sauce - delicious!

A risotto with mixed seafood is one of the best things in the world, and also spaghetti.
Don't use tomatoes with spaghetti. Just sweat the seafood in some white wine in a basis of diced celery, onion and carrott. Cook up the spaghetti and throw them all in the seafood pot, mix it up and serve.
DiscoDolly, try using saffron instead of turmeric in your recipe - it should give it the same yellow but a more sophisticated aroma.

Thanks Sirio - I have newly bought some saffron as I found a place that sells good stuff for a reasonable price. Just usin up the last of the turmeric now.
