Pretty full tonight; the few empty seats were at the side of the theatre, but for next Wednesday evening:

Take your pick
You're in for a treat, people. I'm often disappointed when a film gets good reviews; they never quite live up to the hype, but this was all I expected it would be. Most impressive visuals are the crowd scenes; the view from the stage looks breathtaking, and when the camera pans over them; you feel like you're flying. Oh yes; check out the people gettng a faceful of flare smoke during 'Bullet the Blue Sky'
Best songs for me were 'New Year's Day', 'Love and Peace or Else', 'Where the Streets Have No Name' (best crowd scenes in the film) and 'Pride'; the moment when the 'glittering shards of sepulchral sound' (© Smash Hits 1984) suddenly burst out after the UN Declaration of Human Rights is a real highlight.
What more can I say? Bono's pretty mesmering 50 feet high; when he looks at you he
really looks at you

Hang on for the 'Yahweh' end credits, too; some good animation in that; particularly the city.
Anyway, you'll love it; I'd definitely recommend getting to see it in an IMAX if you possibly can; the screens are so big that they fill your peripheral vision. I think it's on in London until April. Make a weekend of it
Best hit the sack now; I'm up in four hours
