Yesterday i went to check my Tiscali e-mail and when thunderbird came up it said "couldn't connect to server pop.tiscali etc... the connection was refused" This was around lunchtime yesterday. The e-mail was up and running again just after 6pm last night.

Again around the same time today i went to check e-mails and the same refused connection message came up and i can't check e-mails. We recently upgraded to Tiscali TV, is it anything to with that?

we have had the same issues.

If email is important to you I'd suggest ditching Tiscali/Homechoice and get a Hotmail/Gmail account instead.

Iv'e lost money as a result of the cock-ups and subsequently lost all faith in them providing a reliable email service.

My email went down about an hour ago. SW11

Again we had no e-mail service between lunchtime and 7pm. Are they tinkering with the service i.e maintenance?
