Aside from those with Blackberries, obviously.

I find it really hard to setup, using my own POP and SMTP settings, and the networks are no help whatsoever.

Does anyone regularly use video-calling either. I've only ever made one call, to see if it worked.

I use email, to set it up I went to the Nokia website and had them send me the settings. SonyEricsson do a similar service. Note that you may have to get your network to activate email and some netwroks don't allow it for some customers. Remember, also that you will generally have to use your networks SMTP server to send email.

Only used Video Calling once as well.

e-mail was really easy to setup on my n73. Nokia put a nice wizard into the phone to make it easy.

Not used video calling (only had one phone that could do it, didn't ever bother so don't factor it into a spec when getting a phone)

Emails, however, couldn't live without the function. Use it all the time. I did consider a Blackberry, but got lured by the iPhone.

In fairness set up was a breeze it took the settings from Outlook automatically on initial sync and worked on all five adresses straight away. (In fact I thought I would have to do more, so was surprised when emails started arriving on my phone from day 1)

I use e-mail quite a lot on my p990i.

To set it up I just copied the settings I used for Outlook.

I use Gmail (which is my preferred client) my office mail comes in there no problem and is easily read. I also have Yahoo Go! email is Ok but not as good as Gmail.

I also use Opera mini and you can access pop accounts online with that and post on DS. It can even access Hotmail via www.live.co.uk

Wasn't impressed by video calling. Used a couple of minutes to see what it was like, Until the quality of the image improves wouldn't waste my money on it.

I agree, iPhone is the only phone I've ever really used email and web on, all the rest require hacking about downloading settings and http:// and port numbers etc. iPhone just worked as soon as I turned it on, very cool!

iPhone came with the Gmail settings pre loaded, so no messing about. Plus with the unlimited data plan its the first time I have really done email on a mobile, for fear of running up huge bills previously (I receive lots of attachments)

My work phone is a Windows Mobile and hooks up to Exchange Server 2007. Though the client on the phone is a PITA, the syncing/cache mechanism is amazing, and routes voicemails as .wav messages to the inbox (kinda like Visual voicemail)

First used this on my Panasonic gd93 back in Sep '01 and have not looked back. the settings are not that complicated - set them up in outlook/express first and see how they come out. I regularly use my yahoo!, O2 and Vodafone e-mails from my handset. Don't forget that this will work over w-fi as well as gprs/3g if you have a wi-fi embedded handset (pocket pc, W960 etc).
Video calling was fun (had this on my SE-V800 about three years ago) and will be having it again when I get my 3G sims from O2 delivered! it's a bit of fun.
If you are using wap/e-mail from your handset, make sure you have an inclusive data tariff!
