Is my KRZR K1 unlocked, can use vodafone sim as well as t-mobile
Just bought a KRZR K1 phone from the carphone warehouse and thought it would be locked to t-mobile as i had to buy some credit before buying it, but just tried my vodafone sim in it and it works, will this change, or is the phone not locked to any particular network?
Should I stay with vodafone or go with t-mobile? I like the idea of having a t-mob as my main number for the 3p texts and my vodafone as an alt (my other phone is locked to vodafone). Are t-mobile as good as (or as bad as, as the case may be) Vodafone? What are some useful numbers for t-mobile, such as checking balance and checking number, for vodafone it's *#1345# and *#100# |

Personally I think T Mobile are rather poor........it depends what you do.
Personally I use O2/Orange for text messages as you get free text messages if you top up. So I top up £10 and I get 300 texts for free and still have £10 calling credit. However calling cross network is very expensive. 40p with o2 and 15p with Orange. Making calls I use Asda Mobile where all calls to all networks are 16p per min for first three minutes and then 8p per minute for rest of day. They use the Vodafone network. Vodafone do offer Vodafone My Family. For £5 a month you get umlimited calls to your Vodafone Family group....all numbers must be Vodafone. this is good. Also if you spend a £5 a week all calls and texts at weekend are free.....(up to 2 hours cross network) O2 is offering a similar thing for ten numbers in your O2 group you get 1000 mins/1000 texts for £5. Swings and roundabouts really |

On T-Mobile text "BA" to 150 to get your balance on screen. There is a list of other codes on the website, eg AL to get your allowance.

Hi everyone,
There are some great services on Vodafone that you can't get anywhere else. Stop The Clock lets you talk for up to 60 minutes and pay for just 3 on evenings and weekends. There are also the services like Vodafone Family and Free Weekends that tony077844 mentioned above. For more information about all of these, please visit the Vodafone website. You'll find all the information you need in the 'Extras' section at the bottom of the screen. Have a nice evening, edwardpeter Vodafone UK |
