Have recently and have had new aerial installed and all terristrial tuned in. All signals fine. Guide plus will not update. I leave it on standby overnight so there is no reason why it should not pull the listing from the ITV anglia signal. Any ideas?

Have you checked that ITV 1 is set to ON,in the channel Editor.
Set the host channel setting to manual from automatic,as it seems to download the listings quicker.

Yep, it is set to on and I have it from Sky channel 103 which is the same as I had before.

Ah,thats the wrong source,it has to be from analogue tv,if you have an aerial connected.
Change the setting to:

Source: A.TV
Programme number:03
Host channel name:ITV(followed by your region)(note this will be automatically done)

It should be as in this photo(obviously the region will vary)

I did that last night and it seems to work now.

However surely this will cause a problem recording of my sky box on itv. I like the subtitiles.

Well,you could change it to download the listings from the Sky box instead.
Change the host channel to Eurosport(channel:410) instead,make sure it is set to ON,in the channel editor,and remember to leave the Sky box on overnight,not in standby,but put the Pioneer in standby.
Remember,this will delete any timers,you may have set for recording.
Change the source of ITV back to external tuner.
