Well i have had orange for 2 years on contract but the other day i was passing by phone4u and this guy asked me if i wanted to upgrade my phone and they will give me £100 + K850i so i signed up knowing its early upgrade..

Sold the phone for £160, got bill of £257 from orange... £150 early upgrade fee + £35 line rent + £40 call bills + VAT

Well i used to use this call forwarding no to call overseas using inclusive mins but orange stopped that no and i got £40 bill..........

Now guess what?/

I emailed orange asking to cancel the contact as i could not use that call forwarding no any more..... Well i only upgraded in december.

This morning got an email from orange bosses and he said, fine WE WILL CANCEL THE CONTRACT...... Fair enough?? Yes it was as it made me more happy when asked him what about the FREE internet i have from you?? Guess what he said?/ ummmmm We will give you that for FREE even though you do not have contract any more haha.......

They have put me on pay&go and i will be transfering no to 3G as i have a contract with them well...

Did it sound like good offer?/ To me BRILLIANT AS I HAVE SAVED £35*= £595 Line rent

Do you have something like this??

Anything from phones4u is a HUGE mistake.

OP When you say 3G do you mean Orange 3G or the network Three?

@hamid84, I'm not sure I understand what happened as your description is a bit muddled. Are you saying that you upgraded early, with a resultant big bill, and then discovered the terms and conditions had changed. This enabled you to get out of the contract and move to PAYG, but keeping your free broadband?

If that is what happened then it seems a complicated way of getting free broadband at the expense of losing your contract and future upgrades.

Yes prking you are right.. thats what happend...

Ohh 3G means THREE NETWORK i meant to say.

Yes i upgraded in decemeber, then orange changed their T&C so i emailed them and asked to cancel...

Also i got FREE broadband for life..............

Now i am on pay as you go................

well why dont you guys try the same thing as orange changed t&c on 15 Dec so give it a try they might cancel yours as well.

Cheers
