Currently playing Max Payne 3 story mainly with a bit of online on the side, with Dead Space on the backlog. And need to finish off Killzone 2 and Rage along with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Uncharted 3 Single Player (3rd playthrough)

Currently playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Glad I got Playstation Plus because I wouldn't of bought this game, not the sort of game I usually go for and I am loving it

Aside from BF3 I am using the summer games drought to complete some older games, namely GTA TBOGT and Red Dead Redemption.
Hopefully i can get some finished before we go to silly season with releases again. |

Metroid Prime for the first time. Not got far, only on the second level but it's pretty good. I've had to give myself a few days rest from it though because I was getting frustrated with one of the mini bosses. Not a big fan of games that have so many bosses, and this game appears to have a lot, but I'll stick with it and see how it goes.

Well, you don't often read that. I also agree, not so much with CV but with Nemesis. It's by far my favourite RE out of the original Trilogy.
I've also been on a huge Resi binge. Been replaying RE Nemesis on the Wii which I finished last night and now started a new game of Resi Evil Remake which so far is blowing me away, especially coming from RE3. Even today the graphics are incredible. Also playing through Resi 5 Gold Edition on 360, yeah it is more action orientated than the others and the Sheva AI is thick as shit but I can forgive it as it's so enjoyable. ![]() REmake is just hauntingly gorgeous graphics wise. Has a vibe of "classic horror film" to it, and it's enough to scare you silly. Especially considering the changes they made from the original version.

Terraria. Was put off by the fact it was 2D to start because I don't usually play those type of games, but it was 3 quid in the steam sale so I thought I might as well try it. Totally addictive.

Resident Evil 3 and REmake on the Gamecube are 2 of the best (REmake is 3rd on my rankings) purely because of how atmospheric they both are, and I think it's a credit to Capcom how they achieved it in different ways. The first time you play Number 3 and you don't know when Nemesis is gonna pop out just left me on tenterhooks throughout the entirety, not to mention the sheer panic when you hear him running after you off-screen.
![]() REmake is just hauntingly gorgeous graphics wise. Has a vibe of "classic horror film" to it, and it's enough to scare you silly. Especially considering the changes they made from the original version. ![]() It wasn't until I played on Hard that I realised the whole point of Resident Evil. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that as I'd played through both RE games before on the easy/normal difficulties and while they weren't quite a forgiving as Nemesis I still missed out on a lot of fun. RE3 is a true test of survival, and was such an eye opening experience playing through it the first time on hard, almost a completely different game. And yes, there's something about the GC version I also love, I've heard that said a number of times now from various people, I think the controller is so well suited to the games which plays a part in it. REmake is on another level yeah, it's really is the magnum opus of the series before they went 3rd person. I love both styles and I've also really grown to love Resi 5 too but REmake for my money cannot be beaten on a number of levels.

Assassin's Creed for the first time. I'm enjoying it, more so for the interesting story because a lot of the gameplay is very long-winded. I've heard though that the second one improves a lot so I'm completing this one to follow the story and play the second.
