Dragon age inquisition- which i think is brilliant and recommend to anyone looking for a great story and huge world to explore with a load of secrets and extra quests.

It's been Sims 4 for the past month or so as I've been in hospital with only the laptop and no internet connection.
Now I'm back home it's back to Dragon Age. |

Borrowed a PS4 as I can't decide what my next console purchase will be, been playing WWE 2K15.
It looks good, but not exactly the best wrestling game I've played. I think I'll have a sesh on Driveclub when the snooker finishes tomorrow. |

Just played through Tengami on PC . It's a little 2 hour point and click, or drag and click as it was originally a mobile game. You flip things like flipping over the pages of a pop-up book which was a decent mechanic. Puzzles are simple and the artwork is very pretty. Shame it wasn't longer but I quite enjoyed it.

Finished off Deponia today having started it previously. Not a bad point and click game.
About to give Never Alone ((Kisima Ingitchuna)) a go, it's a little puzzle platformer where you play as a Alaskan native American girl and /or (I'm not sure which) an arctic fox. Looks cute. |

World of Tanks, but about to give up on it. It's a great game, nearly. The matchmaking is absolutely laughable. You either hammer the other team, or get hammered. While the former might be great fun, getting a pasting every other game because the rest of your team comprises of Kermit and his mates, not fun at all.
If it's not that then you're constantly placed in lobbies against tanks that are a couple of tiers up from you. Don't get me wrong, I like a challenge, but constantly being one-shot? No, not my idea of a great game. Great concept. Fundamentally flawed. |

The Shadow Warrior reboot on Xbox One. It's an absolute riot and a huge amount of fun, it only cost £14 brand new from ShopTo as well, bargain!
Anybody bored of po-faced, too serious FPS's should check it out. |

Recently I've been playing through lot of older 360 games that I've bought over the past few weeks, games I always wanted but never got around to before, some real gems among them; Blades of Time, Colin McRae's DIRT, Moto GP '07 (the original Climax game), Brutal Legend, Viking: Battle for Asgard, The Godfather I/II, Ace Combat 6.
FEAR 2 Project Origin is a superb game in particular, made by Monolith it's almost like Condemned with guns, brilliant gfx and atmosphere and near perfect shooting mechanics. Also re-bought Forza 2 (luckily I sourced a virtually brand new copy), a game I've not played for over 5 years, going back to it was surprising... surprising in the sense of how well it still plays. This game is just so ridiculously smooth, sure the graphics are a little aged (the vehicles in particular) but the environments are actually better looking than FM3/4 imo. The sound is also incredibly impressive, full of intricacy and detail, it's still a really enjoyable game and it's even still playable online but you'll be hard pushed to find a game obviously. Gonna unwrap and fire up Bodycount in a minute, not expecting great things but it's still an interesting sounding FPS. |
