Still GoT. Somehow. Just took out 7 tanks, did massive damage to their final tank before it got me, which left us 4 on 1, where their sole surviving tank could probably take no more hits before going up in smoke. Yet for unfathomable reasons that must be obvious to the enlightened, all 4 of our tanks just sat there, camped in the bushes at the back of the map expecting their tank to come at them. Not surprisingly, it didn't, the clock counted down to zero and our team snatched a glorious draw from an almost impossible not to win scenario.
Games like that, seriously they almost make you give up on MP..... |

Nihilumbra. I seem to have played a few puzzle platformers lately and this another. It's kind of going for the surreal with a dramatic voicover guy narrating a story of growth and discovery.
You start off as this weird blob thing before you take the form of another weird blob thing that was attempting to immitate a scarecrow. There's something called the void that's chasing you and it devours everything that it comes in contact with. You get sent into an area/world and along the way learn new powers that help you get past said area. You can use them in conjuction with each other to kill/avoid enemies and navigate the world. At the end of each area the void starts consuming the area, chasing you, and you have to escape before it gets you. Rinse and repeat. I'm about an hour and half in. I don't think it lasts too long, that's what I've heard anyway. It's not bad so far although it's not been particularly challenging. Hoping the difrficulty ramps up a bit but it's reasonably entertaining. |

With Dying Light delayed (disc) I have decided to go on an Uncharted binge. Finally. Picked up where I left UC1 months ago at start of chapter 6. Will try to do all 3 in a row with few distractions.

Jurassic Park: The Game. It's from Telltale Games, and in similar vein to The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us games that they made.
There's less dialogue options than in the the other games I mentioned and the choices don't have much (or any) significance in terms of shaping the story as far as I can tell. There are way, way more quick time events, too many in my opinion. The QTE's themselves are more complicated than those in The Walking Dead whilst giving less time. I'm finding them a bit fiddly and tedious because of how many there are which is a shame as I quite enjoyed the storyline so far. The menus were a bit clunky and slow to respond too. I wanted to change the screen resolution when first starting and I had to cycle through each setting, waiting for it to change before trying the next resolution and so on until I got it where I wanted it. Why I couldn't just select 1920x1080 from a drop-down menu I don't know. |

I completed Killzone 2 on PS3 earlier today and I'm about to start Killzone 3 tomorrow. I'm also playing a little bit of Driveclub on PS4 here and there as well.

I'm playing Star Wars KOTOR on my tablet. It's just as good as I remember and one game that actually works better on a touch screen. Already dreading it ending
Just hope that KOTOR 2 comes to android soon. |

The level with the explosions and the fire that you have to escape from, what the hell lol. Not really helped by the sound issues which make the game sound like a pneumatic drill, but seen as i'm halfway through the game I can't be bothered fixing it and starting again.
make sure you play MP2 after that. i seem to remember that being a tad easier and it's a brilliant game. |

Resident Evil HD
Played through as Jill so far and loved it Really hope it's successful enough that capcom will consider a HD upgrade for RE2 and possibly Nemesis. |

oh yeah, i do remember dying a lot at that part now. have you done the bit where he has a nightmare have you have to follow the trail of blood? that bit annoyed me a little.

Just played the 'Life is Strange' demo and will be buying it now, very much like the Talltale game but think I will actually like this better.

So Bodycount on the 360 turned out to be a pretty fun little game, way better than I was expecting,. I've nearly completed it now and I may even go through a second time to improve my score. One thing this game has aside from some really nice gfx (especially the way environmental destruction and in particular, glass is handled) are some tight controls, I really like the way you can hold the left trigger to aim and also move your entire body at the same time allowing you to easily duck in and out of cover.
Also got around to trying out Hunted: The Demon's Forge. While not expecting too much form it I have to say this is another great little game. Fantasy RPG with Gears of War style gameplay, it's really designed to be played co-op but the AI is bearable. Not bad at all. Aside from that I've also found myself playing a fair bit of GRID 2, not sure why I'm so attracted to this game but I much prefer it to the original! |

Currently halfway through Halo 2: Anniversary.
It's taking me longer than I'd thought it would, as I'm finding it a bit of a chore (although not as bad as Halo CE) so can't bring myself to play for long periods. Looking forward to finally finishing it and moving on to Halo 3, which is my fave Halo campaign. |
