I'll be getting a PS3 too, once I've moved out to Spain and gotten a nice amount of money in the bank. So have no fear, you'll be able to get me on COD4 on the PS3 too (I'm one of those gamers ).

Couple of reasons really (reliability issues aside),

1. It's cheaper and has more to offer me at the moment.
2. More of my IRL friends have a 360 so it makes sense that if I wanna wail on 'em online it's gonna have to be a 360. It's also going to be my main form of communication to them when I move because I won't be able to ship out my PC for a good while.
3. Banjo-Kazooie 3, I've been a fan of the games since Banjo-Kazooie, and I sure as hell ain't gonna miss out on their next-gen outing.
4. I wanted a console that had more games at the moment, and thus more of a chance of finding a cult game, I kinda thrive on finding games nobody else has really heard of.

Those don't really sound like decent reasons, but that's how my tiny little mind works.

I'm sure he meant it in the the kindest possible way

Unfortunately for him, my preferred method is one that many may frown upon

I'm only useful whenever I'm sniping, so I prefer to snipe. I doubt many people would like that though, cos it's sort of, sneaky in a way.

Playing Timeshift on the PC at the moment, far better than the lack of hype would suggest.

Snipers get it in the end though, usually with the knife.

I dont mind anyone doing anything other than camping at spawn points. I just choose to run around like a headless chicken.

Yeah, that's why my friend has said he'll cover me if I need it (I tend to run around a fair bit too, I kinda learnt in SP that I shouldn't linger somewhere for too long), to be honest, I don't mind going headlong into battle but I'm like you, I do the headless chicken thing. It's bad enough in single player, today I spent 10 minutes looking for my allies whimpering "where have you gone?" being shot left, right and centre.

Mind and follow your yellow blob on the bottom in single player. I do the same (probably everyone)...busy thinking I'm fighting with my troops, turn round and they are gone.

Oh I follow that blob, it worked for me the first time through but the second time it's being a pain in the arris, I ended up on the wrong side of the map during "Heat" (is that the level name?) and ended up not making it to the LZ in time.

I'm hopeless at this game.

Catching up on a couple of games I hadn't got round to earlier on the PS2 - Global Defence Force, Shadow of the Colossus and Manhunt.

I've also fallen in love with my new Wii and am rotating - MOH Heroes 2, No More Heroes, Battalion Wars 2 and Bully. And they're all great LOL.

Well, its CRAN1UM's day off today, so he's planning to spend some time on Oblivion for PS3, and hopefully then maybe BioShock or some Gears of War on 360

Oh, is that the horror game "Blood"? I've been thinking about downloading it from the main site but I'm a bit worried about whether it'll work on vista.

360: COD4
DS: Dawn of Sorrow

Since I got COD4 all my other games have become less and less interesting.

That's very true. When I first got it I got stuck on the TV Station level on Normal for ages but have now got 1000/1000 acheivement points.

Still need to do a lot of improving on multiplayer, though.
