Playing Timeshift on the PC at the moment, far better than the lack of hype would suggest.
Hmmm... I have ordered this from a seller on Amazon and that was last week. Bloody thing still isn't here yet. It is on the PS3 due to my graphics card needing an upgrade. Otherwise it would be on the PC without a second thought on the matter. I prefer PC FPS gaming. Is there any countryside sections in Time Shift? I like the countryside levels in games. I think it is a bit better than seeing a concrete jungle all the time.

I am in the middle of playing at this moment in time: Mass Effect.

That's very true. When I first got it I got stuck on the TV Station level on Normal for ages but have now got 1000/1000 acheivement points.

Still need to do a lot of improving on multiplayer, though.
I found the TV station level to be really easy on normal, the one I'm stuck on is "One Shot One Kill" on hardened god knows how I'm going to fair on the next level.

I haven't even gotten to multi-player yet, oh well, when I move I'll be able to get online.

ohh the fire fight at the end??
That one still has me stumped on hardened, yet ive done other levels on veteran!

Theres a place where you can hide and place morters down to stop them coming after you and just snipe the rest off until the chopper arrives. Ive tired it, but its like cheating!, so i havent done it yet

Yeah, I like the level before it, but this level totally kills the atmosphere of Chernobyl. Plus there's the bloody dogs even though I know how to kill 'em I still hate them.

I plant claymores round the ferris wheel because I prefer to be next to Capt. MacMillan (he's a useless bastard isn't he?) and the buggers'll sneak through the back of the wheel otherwise. The reason why I stand next to MacMillan is for some reason I find it a better place to snipe than to stand in front of the ferris wheel.

Half of me is tempted to use that method, but the other half is screaming "Do it properly, this isn't TimeSplitters!".

Yeah it does ruin it abit. Although that ferris wheel is identical to the one at Chernobyl, its scary.

I might fire this level up again tonight. I have my 360 and PS3 off the net for awhile right now as my router caught fire , so im using my old USB modem which sucks majorly. So im getting some of my offline games done

I didn't know about the ferris wheel until CODresi mentioned it, but the attention to detail in COD4 is really quite remarkable.

I just play through the main mode 'cos I like the levels with the AC-130 (is that the plane they use) and the sniper levels, I can't warm to the levels with the American soldiers though, it's all too "run in head first" for my liking. And I've developed this rather weird love for Capt. Price and Gaz

Oh I know how you feel, I'm stuck with the Tsar (my USB modem, heir to the Kaiser who blew up a good 10 months ago (yes, I named them )) so I've been having to live with having my consoles offline for a good time, that said I'm moving soon and the 360'll be coming with me so if my sister's fiance doesn't take a liking to it (if he ever decides to tear himself away from his computer that is) I'll be happily online running around screaming "What the hell do I do?". Hey, is your PS3 BC?

Have you played the previous COD's? I think most of them, but definatly since COD2, Cpt. Price has been in them, but in different forms. He looks the same, with the bushy tash, but his voice is different. I like in COD 2 (WW2) he has that posh 1940's army accent

Yeah my PS3 has BC, but its the 60GB launch night machine that isnt available now (unless you try eBay) I think the 80GB which is said to be heading this way will have BC though.

So is that why he's happily puffing on a cigar in "Crew Expendable"?

I haven't, I've only recently gotten into FPS since I've grown so insanely tired with RPGs (and it appears that my fave series won't be getting another installment, even then I'll most likely hate the next game like there's no tomorrow), my brother tried before by trying to get me into Halo but I really didn't like that game, it seemed so, meh. It was when I got TimeSplitters that I really got into FPS games, and that was more because it has a healthy sense of humour. I'll look into the others, do any of them have a WWI setting? I have a weird fetish for games like that.

Ah, I was only asking cos I was gonna recommend some games for you, but I realised you'll most probably hate the games I like. I dunno if I'll need BC when I get a PS3, my PS2 seems to soldier on even though I've taken parts off it and tripped over it so many times.

I bought Star Fox Adventures for the ol'GC yesterday, so I'm playing that right now. It's pretty good so far.

The first Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

I've broke my wrist, so it's the only game I can play.

I think it'll have been re-posessed by now.

You don't strike me as the 'Animal Crossing' type. :P You think you know someone......

Mass Effect (on Hardcore difficulty)
Devil May Cry 4
Various XBLA games to get 200/200 points

A bit of COD4 online in the evenings.

Just played through Resistance again on PS3. What a cracking game this is.
Be back on Guitar Hero and Burnout paradise soon. Expecting COD4 through the letterbox any day soon.
