Brilliant radio appearances today -i'm looking forward to listening again later ...great to hear Jon say the Vegas story is true-so exciting for him .

Interview starts at 1r 5 mins in. That cappella performance of My Own True Love just emphasises what Jonathan is all about. Who else could put in a performance like that sitting down in a radio studio - off the cuff. Great at last an aria played on radio - CD recording one take with a full orchestra. Makes that track even more special.

Interesting on listening to podcast that Jonathan S sees how marketable Jonathan A is. How often to you get someone so intelligent, with model looks & such a superb voice. Looks as though he could be getting advertising deals, radio & even tv presenting. As well as appearing in Las Vegas!! Can't be bad.

A remarkable voice indeed and one of the very few I can recognise straight away when I hear him sing - don't have to wonder who it is

Can't be bad indeed -so great to hear Jon sound so positive -won't be at all surprised if presenting and advertising jobs happen..we already have Jon presenting a series on Classic fm soon .Jon's perfect for such work and Sony/Global should have seen that ages ago.At least Universal/Jonathan Shalit seem to see what they have now.

My daydream is that Jonathan will be a host for weekly music show on television

Sounds like some presenting etc is already in the pipeline Natalie - judging by the comments from the radio shows and also last night on Jons interview with Mark Fforest on Classic FM Radio - another really interesting interview - and they played Here's to the Heroes which sounds fantastic on radio.

Forgot to say in my earlier post - Jon is in two papers today - the Daily Express magazine and also in the Portsmouth News - talking about the Pavarotti gig in Las Vegas.

I see from Portsmouth article he starts rehearsals for Pavorotti show in Autumn.

Need to keep eyes out for another major article given that he went straight to a photo-shoot after South Bank Show awards. In 'Posh suite at Intercontinental'.

I can't keep up with it all.

The newspaper "mock up" did make me smile - I'm sure the real makeup and costume department for the show will make a far more sophisticated job of it! Amazing how people can be transformed though.

Great article. And what an honour for Jon. He must be over the moon to have the opportunity to play his idol and hero. Not many artists get that chance!

Just been on This Morning - singing for a couple who were being honoured for all their lifetimework with foster children.

He sang My Own True Love - sadly we only heard a little bit of it - but the couple were delighted and described his voice as "magical and super. "

Jonathan looked gorgeous as always and was charming and lovely with the couple.
